Setting up Pristine Space |
We will now configure Pristine Space. In Sonar, double click on the Pristine Space instance (that we added to the Effect Send 1 track previously). If PP's window doesn't open, check in the task bar, it is probably already open (click on it to open it). In the upper-right corner you will see a ? . Click on it, the configuration page will be displayed.
Click on SET INPUTS and select 8, do the same for OUTPUTS. Set latency to 256. In search Path 1, select C:\impulses\ (directory where you will store your impulse responses. Now, we need to restart SONAR before the modifications we did to Pristine Space take effect. Close the Pristine Space window, save your Sonar project, and exit Sonar. Wait until the little MIDI monitor applet dissappears before trying to start Sonar again. Restart Sonar, open your saved project, open Hauptwerk, and load an organ. Now let's get back to Pristine Space. On the main page, next to the ON (upper left corner), click on the little black dot
P.s. Disregard the Delay control set at 0.117s in this picture. Set to 0. Now we need to load to impulse responses. You can dowload the BHK58 demo from Jiri Zurek website and unzip the files to C:\IMPULSES\BHK58. Click on SLOT 1. Click "File...." and navigate to C:\IMPULSES\BHK58\IRs8 and load FRONT-L. Click on Slot 2 and load FRONT-R. Go back to Sonar and play some notes, you should hear the organ without reverb, now click the little square in the Audio 1 track (should turn green) and play some more notes. You should now have reverb.
Congratulation you now have TRUE STEREO CONVOLUTION REVERB!
